Light micrograph of a corpus amylaceous, a normal microscopic stone-like structure found inside a normal human prostate. The corpus amylaceous is characterised by several concentric or lamellated mildly irregular lines. The corpora amylacea in prostates are normal, but their true function is not completely understood. Haematoxylin and eosin stained tissue section. Magnification: x200 when printed at 10cm wide.
