Unknown Dare Devil "Decorates" London "Y" -- London Y.M.C.A. headquarters. The gibbet can be seen on the top of the building. The dome 60-ft. high of London's Y.M.C.A. headquarters on Tottenham Court-road had a new look on Sunday morning - someone had decorated it with a model gibbet, complete with noose. Officials of the organisation confessed themselves baffled as to who hung up the gibbet, and why it was done, adding: "It would be a difficult and dangerous job, especially in the dark". Steeplejacks were called in to remove the gibbet. October 10, 1955. (Photo by Daily Express).
