Great Mass Demonstration of Unemployment in Hyde Park, Oct. 27th: Thousands of hunger marchers from all parts of England arrived at Hyde Park to take part in the huge demonstration directed against the present administration of the means test. The marchers and their supporters were escorted to the Park by mounted and foot police, while strong forces of police were held in reserve.
