He Likes To Be With The Airmen -- The Deputy Supreme Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Force, Air Chief Marshal Tedder, spends as much time as possible among the "Erks" - in other words the ordinary airman. He is seen enjoying a cup of tea at the opening of the first R.A.F. Malcolm Club, Algiers, which was formed by Lady Tedder and named in memory of Wing Commander Malcolm, V.C. Malcolm Clubs were later opened in Sicily, Italy and in Europe, and Air Chief Marshal Tedder frequently visited these R.A.F. recreational centres. July 5, 1945.
