Westminster Abbey-The High Altar - A vie of the high altar in Westminster Abbey, London, at which H.R.H. Princess Elizabeth will kneel when she is married to Lieutenant Philip Mountbatten, R.N., November 20. The Rood screen was designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott, R.A., in 1867, while the sculptured figures were the work of Henry ***** armstead, R.A. The Mosaic, depicting "The Last Supper", designed by J.R. Clayton, was completed by the Italian Artist, Salviati, in the same year. October 29, 1947.
