Sallow kitten moth (Furcula furcula). The flight period of this moth is usually May and June, with a second generation in August. It is found across Europe and as far east as China. The larvae look like smaller versions of the Puss moth and feed mainly on sallow, as well as aspen and poplar. Photographed in Somerset, UK, in August.
