City of Neuruppin; temple garden (German: Tempelgarten): statue of Emperor Charles V (Kaiser Karl V.); one of four Baroque style sandstone statues in the garden (others: Suleiman I; Phillip II of Spain; Russian Bojar); In 1732; crown prince Frederick (later on King Frederick II; Frederick the Great) ordered the building of the Amalthea Garden (German: Amaltheagarten). In 1735; architect Georg Wenzeslaus von Knobelsdorff designed here the temple garden; his first work. In 1853; Neuruppin merchant family Gentz changed all into oriental moorish style. Turkish style Villa Gentz; the gardener`s house (German: G鋜tnerhaus) with minaret and the outer walls with gates; bastion and tower were built.
