City of Berlin: former Bethanien Hospital; built 1845 - 1847 based on a design by Ludwig Persius (1803 - 1845) by Theodor August Stein (1802 - 1876) under the supervision of Friedrich August St黮er (1800 - 1865); main entrance; worked here in 1848/49 Writer Theodor Fontane (1819 - 1898) as a pharmacist. In 1971 it was occupied by squatters and renamed the "Georg von Rauch House".
