Poland; city of Swiebodzin: detail of Christ the King Statue; Christ the King statue in Polish city of Swiebodzin (former German Schwiebus) was built 2006 to 2010 and inaugurated on 21st of November 2010. Initiator of the statue was local Polish priest Sylwester Zawadzki; the design was realized by sculptor Miroslaw Kasimierz Patecki. The statue was placed on a 16;5 m high artificial hill. The statue is 36 m high (including 3 m high crown); with pedestrial 52.5 m high. It weighs 440 tons. In 2010; it was the highest statue of Jesus Christ; worldwide. In 2018; the new statue of Jesus Christ Blessing (Jesus Buntu Burake) in Makale; Indonesia; became the tallest statue of Jesus Christ worldwide. It is 40 m high; with pedestrial 52.55 m high.
