Light micrograph of ductal carcinoma of the prostate. The tissue section is stained with alpha-methylacyl-CoA racemase (AMACR) using an immunohistochemical staining technique. The red colour represents positive AMACR staining in the cytoplasm of the cells, and the thin ovoid blue structures are the nuclei of the cancer cells. Prostatic ductal carcinoma represents a particular type of prostate cancer which is recognized by a pathologist on microscopic examination. Magnification: 200x when printed at 10cm.
