TWO LARGE PORCELAIN CENTERPIECES WITH MUSICIANS.

18th century.
Model J.J. Kaendler and assistants; 1751.
Porcelain; enriched in colours and gold.
Each with drop-shaped rocaille base with threedimensional flowers and plants attached. In
the center; under a tree; young shepherdess playing the mandolin; in front of her a big
basket with fruits. The other one with young shepherd with flute and a small dog at his
feet.
Measurement: a) Height 29cm; width 29;5cm. b) Height 25;5cm; width 27;5cm.
Mark: a) Without recognizable marks ; 11 and 9:7 carved. b) Swordsmark and collection tag 'Sammlung Britzke F172'.
