Silver; the pitcher with gilt interior.
Large foot with dynamic rocaille curves and scalloped edge. Two sculptural tritons sitting
opposite each other; each blowing into a shell horn. Jug with slender foot; compressed
body with very long; slender neck. On the back elaborate tendril-shaped handle. The hinged
lid crowned by small tritons blowing a horn. Two rocaille cartouches; with antique-style
depictions of nymphs and tritons; on the broad upper side of the central section. In the
front the inscription: "Presented to the Cinematograph Exhibitors Association of Great
Britain and Ireland by Sir William Jury 1935". ("躡erreicht an die Cinematograph
Exhibitors Association of Great Britain and Ireland von Sir William Jury 1935").
