Tuscany; city of Sinalunga; agricultural farm and country estate Tenuta La Fratta: tabernacle on altar of chapel of the estate; below fresco of 1530 attributed to Sodoma (1477 - 1549); Huge country estate La Fratta was established; in 1208; near th Via Cassia; connecting Florence with Rome. Most buildings of the estate date from 1500 onwards; the manor house in Renaissance style is older; also the marvellous fountain in the yard of the manor house. The chapel of the estate; as well at the yard; dates back to 1320. Inside; it is decorated with frescos of 1530; attributed to Sodoma (1477 - 1549). Since 16th century; La Fratta offers hospitality. Today; the living history farm; renovated with a two-digit million Euro amount; breeds 500 Chianina cattle and is an active tourism buisness.
