Tuscany;village of Lucignano: church of St Francis (chiesa di San Francesco); 13th century: fresco restoration works; inside of Gothic style church of St. Francis (Chiesa di San Francesco); there are lots of fresoces o 14th and 15th century; mostly realized by Taddeo di Bartolo (1362 - 1422) and Bartolo di Fredi (ca 1330 - 1410); who realized also the series of frescoes dedicated to the life of St Francis. Most remarkable is Bartolo di Fredis "Triumph of Death" (Trionfo della Morte); of 1380.
