Tuscany; city of Sorano; village of Sovana; Fattoria Aldobrandesca: wine casks in the wine cellar; the 193 ha wine estate (100 ha vineyards) is owned by noble Antinori family; since 1995. It is a speical wine laboratory for the Antinori wine empire and produces special ros?(Italian: Rosato) wine and Aleatico wines. Most famous are the Rosato "A" and the Aleatico Sovana Superiore DOC wine; produced since 1997. The name of the wine estate (fattoria) derives from noble Aldobrandeschi familiy which ruled the Sovana area; since 940 AD.
