Poland; Krak體: detail of facade of Helena Modrzejewska National Stary Teatr (Old Theatre; Polish: Narodowy Stary Teratr im. Heleny Modrzejewskiej); opened 1781; The Old Theatre (Stary Teatr) was created by Feliks Oraczewski; parliament menber; and actor Mateusz Witkowski; in 1781. In 1798; Jacek Kluszewski took over and moved the theater to its present place; converting two of his own buildings at corner of Szcepanski Square and Jagiellonska Street. Still today; it is the leading theatre in Poland. it also housed for a period the Towarzystwo Muzyczne i Konserwatorium; created 1817. Since 2016; it houses the MICET Interactive Museum and Theater Education Center in the cellars.
