Poland; Krak體; Jewish Remah Cemetary (Polish: Cmentarz Remuh): historic sarcophagus style grave; The Remah Cemetery beside Remah Synagogue (Polish: Synagogu Remu) takes its name from the Hebrew acronym ReMA (pronounced: "ReMU") of Rabbi Moses Isserles (ca. 1525 - 1572); als known as Moshe Isserles. It is also known as Old Jewish Cemetery of Krak體 (Stary cmentarz zydowski w Krakowie) and one of the oldest Jewish cemeteries in Poland. Opened in 1551; it was closed; in 1850. During the time of the Holocaust; the graveyard was destroyed; walls teared down and tombstones taken away to be used as paving stones in Nazi camps. After World War II; the gravestones were returned. Most important is the tombstone of Rabbi Moses Isserles. It has as well the inscription "From Moses to Moses there was no one like Moses".
