Poland; Krak體: Palace of Art (Polish: Palac Sztuki); built 1901 in Art Nouveau style; The palace of art was built by the Krak體 Society of Fine Arts Friends (Stowarzyszenie Przyjaciol Sztuk Pieknych in Polish); founded 1854. The reliefs at the facade were realized by symbolist painter Jacek Malczewski and represent the ups and downs of creative processes. The niches have busts of famous Krak體 artists. Main bust presents painter Jan Mateijko (1838 - 1893).
