City of Suzhou; Lingering Garden: Penjing (also: penzai) garden plant; Penzai is an art tradition of depicting artistically formed trees; other plants; and landscapes in miniature. Lingering Garden is a classical Chinese garden; dating into the Ming Dynasty (1593 AD); and as further Suzhou gardens; a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. Suzhou is a big city in Jiangsu Province; East China; 100 km northwest of Shanghai; Suzhou is on the Lake Tai Plain south of the Yangtze River. Founded in 514 BC; Suzhou has many sites of historical interest.
