Vienna; 1st district: view direction south into Blutgasse (Blood Lane) with "flying buttress" (German: Schwibbogen); 鈥濳leiner F盲hnrichshof" (No 9); and 鈥濭ro脽er F盲hnrichshof" (No 7); bases of the buildings along Blutgasse partly date back to medieval times; as it is located in the oldest district of Vienna. 1368 it was known under the name of "Kotg盲ssel" according to the "Deutschen Herren"; followed by "Kerg盲ssel" (1406 and 1411); "Blutgasse" (since 1547); later on in 1600 "Milchgasse" (milk lane); since 1862; the lane officially is called Blutgasse. 1989 to 1991 renovation of the facades took place (Baroque style design).
