Italy; Tuscany; city of Prato: entrance to the Museo del Tessuto (textile museum); The Museo del Tessuto shows the history of famous Prato textile industry. It is located in the historic city centre inside the city walls in the once biggest textile factory of Prato; the Cimatoria Campolmi. In one area; there is also the cultural centre "A. Lazzerini" where one may find in the lobby as well the german word "Turbinenfabrik" (turbine factory) on the wall. The museum shows 7000 items; including textile machines and tools; but also wedding costums and fashion works of Giorgio Armani; or Yves Saint Laurent.
