GILT BRONZE RENAISSANCE CRUCIFIX CLOCK.
K鰊igsberg. 2nd half of the 17th c. Georg Schulz.

Gilt bronze and partly silver-plated; steel; brass and glass. Six-sided base case on ornamental corner feet; the sides are glazed. On top a cross with the Corpus Christi as well as Maria and Joseph as assistance figures. As finial on cross a revolvable globe with equatorially circulating hour display; below a flying putto with fixed finger. Day clock with verge movement. The going work with chain and fusee; the striking work with fixed barrel and spring wheel; alarm. Height 33cm.
