White marble and gilded bronze applications. Enamel dial. On breakfront base upright rectangular case with flanking scrolls. Richly decorated finial out of cornupias; laurels and cooing doves. Round dial with Roman numerals and Arabic minutes. Pendulum movement with thread suspension and half-hour chime on a bell. Height 47cm.
Inscribed on the dial Lepaute H.GER. DU ROI.
