GILDED BRONZE PENDULUM CLOCK "CUPID AND THE TOILETTE OF PSYCHEE"

Gilded bronze. Enamel dial. High base with cupid frieze. The case flanked by a stool and table in Empire style. Atop the case sit Cupid and Psyche; she putting on a diadem; he holding the mirror. Roman numerals and Arabic minutes. Flattened pendulum movement with thread suspension and half-hour chime on a bell. Height 48cm.
The dial inscribed Galle rue vivienne ?Paris Thomas hr.
