PORCELAIN PENDULUM CLOCK WITH CUPIDS
Meissen. 19th century. Model E.A. Leuteritz; 1870-1880

Porcelain; enriched in colours and gold. Round-arched case with shell relief and applied blossoms on four volute feet. As a finial a putto with harp sitting above a winged golden orb. The orb is flanked by two more putti with flower garland. Base with volute feet; applied blossoms and small cartouche with Watteau scene on the obverse side. Height with base 55cm.
Swords mark; indistinct model and porcelain former's no. on base and case; twice with painter's no. 59. Condition C.
