LARGE PORCELAIN FIGURE OF A SHEPHERDESS.

Porcelain; colour and sparingly gold enriched. Flat; oval base with small rock formation and tree stump. On it sits a young woman dressed
in country clothes and wearing a straw hat. On her lap; set in her apron; lies a bouquet
of flowers. She looks down at a sheep lying to her left; also looking at her. It seems as
if she was hoping for a bite of the flowers in the girl's hand. Height 52.5cm.
Manufacturer's mark; on plinth inscribed H. M. 27.Art trade; Van Ham.
