APOSTLE SILVER SPOON.
Danzig. Ca. 1690. Johann Rhode II.

Silver; partly gilt. Broad; roundish bowl with ornamented intermediate piece to the handle. Ther on the obverse
side two fish resp. verso the monograms of the patrons 'I.D.' / 'Z.B.' as well as coat of
arms with swan. At the end of the handle figure of an apostle; presumably Saint Simon. Ca. 62g. Length 21.5cm.

Inspection mark Gdansk (Rosenberg no.1499); maker's mark; slightly indistinct; Johann Rhode II (active 1684-1720; ibid. no.1575). Condition A/B.
