Geno PAMPALONI (25 November 1918 - 17 January 2001) journalist and literary critic; after completing his university studies during the war; attending the University from the front; his professional work began in the post-war period with collaborations with journalistic and literary newspapers; moved from Florence to Milan; among others he wrote for the magazines "Il Ponte" and "Belfagor". After dedicating himself also to teaching among his important assignments there was; called by Adriano Olivetti; the direction of the company library which later also led him to coordinate all the cultural activities of Olivetti until 1954; as well as to write for the "Community" magazine. Subsequently in Rome he held illustrious positions; among which for "L'Espresso" and for RAI. From 1962 to 1972 he returned to Florence to manage the Vallecchi publishing house and when left he founded the Edipem publishing house; part of the De Agostini publishing group which he left in the eighties.
