Kerry; Beara Peninsula; village of Tuosist: children`s water colour painting of the annaul village procession on 8th of July; dedicated to martyr Saint Kilian (640 AD - 689 AD); inside the "Mussel House" a new museum to the right hand side of Helen`s Bar; Caf?and Bed & Breakfast; Carl Daly opened his very succesful mussel farm here; in 1983. One can taste the fresh mussels nearby in famous Helen`s Bar; Caf? and Bed & Breakfast; at Kilmakillogue Pier. Aside the Bar; there is the new museum called Mussel House; where the story of the mussel farming; the village history and the story of Saint Kilian (640 - 689) are presented. Saint Kilian lived near Tuosist in a monastery; now in ruins; from where he left with 11 monks to Franconia in German region Bavaria; where the missionary (Irish: Cillian; meaning "fighter; warrior") became a martyr; in city of W黵zburg.
