But he decided for Portoferraio and Villa dei Mulini and later on to build Villa San Martino. Since 2003; ownership is in the hands of the Corradi family from Rome. Annually 80;000 bottles of wine are produced; including Aleatico and Aleatico passito; as well Grappa and olive oil. Most spectacular is the new botanical garden.
