Germany; Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania; Ostseebad Prora; in 1936 the National Socialist organization "Kraft durch Freude (KdF)" began building a large-scale facility for mass tourism. The architect Clemens Klotz designed the facility; the "KdF-Seebad R黦en" was never completed. The "Colossus of Prora" is the core of the complex and originally consisted of eight identical blocks lined up along the Prorer Wiek over a length of 4.5 kilometers. The remaining 5 blocks have been converted into residential and hotel complexes since 2004; as well as a documentation center on the complex's National Socialist past.Refurbished block of flats with holiday apartments.Prora; 02/07/2018.
