Final Contest of Italian Race at Senigallia. Anderson's fall as he comes round the Bend. On 6th August 1951, at Senigalliia (Ancona) the final two tests took place for the title of Italian champion for the classes 250 cc. and 500 cc. The winners were Ruffo (250c.c.) and Nello Pagani, on Gilera (500 cc). In one of the races the British rider Anderson was thrown in a bend and Sprawled dangerously slipping fifty yards as he fell.
