Heading For A Bump But No Hard Feelings Seems a poor way to treat a friend. But 24-year-old George Elliott, of Hayes, Middlesex, harbours no ill feelings as he is kicked through the air by 20-year-old Jennifer Padfield, of Eastcote, Middlesex. They are both members of a Ruislip judo club and both hold the blue belt grade of proficiency. Jennifer took up judo two years ago because she wanted to travel abroad and thought she ought to be able to defend herself. She is soon to leave for Australia where she intends to make her home.
