A tremendous factor in the saving of ***** lives in Korea is the work done by Air evacuation Helicopters - "choppers" to the troops. Here the casualty is pte Alan Brown South Australia ***** wounded in the neck by mortar fragments. Medical orderlies protect him with their bodies and a blanket, from the high wind created by the "choppers" rotor vanes as it comes in to land. July 15, 1953.
