"Safety Sam" Teaches Em The Drill "Safety Sam" (P/Constable Rodwell, Bow District Traffic Patrol) instructs the children of Central Park School in kerb drill. East Ham children are getting first hand safety first instruction from members of a special police "Safety First" team which is making a tour of schools in the Borough. The children learn to recognise pedestrian crossings, traffic signals and hand signals.
