The U.S. Charge d'Affairs, Mr. Orsen Nielsen, unveils a portrait of the late Franklin Roosevelt at Parliament House, Canberra, in the presence of the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. J.B. Chifley. The portrait was painted by Franck Salisbury, R.I., and is a replica of one hanging at Hyde Park, New York State. It will from part of the Roosevelt Memorial library at Canberra. November 11, 1948.
