With a well-equipped laboratory at their disposal, Constables A. Clarke (left) and J. Racks hunt down everything from blood stains to faked members. Although blood stains washed clean from clothing may be invisible to the naked eye, it is often possible to reveal their presence by a combination of micro photography and (ultra-violet-ray). December 21, 1949.
