Thousands Make Pilgrimage To Miracle Girl With Stigmata -- Amelia Natividade with crosses on forehead and left hand. More than 30,000 pilgrims have travelled on foot and by car to the Portuguese village of Vilar Chao, where Amelia Natividade, a peasant girl, has gained a reputation as the subject of miracles. Amelia recently claimed to have had a vision of the Blessed Virgin and to have been cured of infirmities. These events were accompanied by the appearance of a cross on the girl's forehead and left hand. October 21, 1946.
