The repeating pattern consists of the flower of a poppy; which is alternated by the flower heart of this poppy on a short stem. On the coarse diamond-shaped mesh soil there is a scattering pattern around it of unclearly defined shapes that increase in size towards the upper edge. We worked with thick wires. The motifs are made in linen with openwork edges and with a configuration of some cut-outs in the flower hearts. The underside is slightly wavy and covered with picots.
