Above the strip on the cardboard is' Laces from Dalecarlia. (Dalarna) 'written below and' Silvercross. (silvercors). The repeating pattern is formed by a bundle of threads; which has been worked through a mesh ground; a diamond-shaped straw grid. The threads alternately form the contours of a cross on a flat base and a diamond-shaped motif crowned by two rectangles. Within the contour threads of the cross; a border is made in linen with openwork edges. In the diamond-shaped motif; two small motifs are made in linen and one small triangular motif above it.
