The motifs are partially accentuated by clotted relief contours and the rest by widely funded wire bundles. Some roses are made from needle lace. The motifs are connected to each other by a needle-edged soil with single-meshed meshes. Various needle-stitch stitches have been applied and ornamental soils with very fine and coarser meshes.
