Model: The flat round bottom is surrounded by a wavy raised edge with holes through which a cord of braided silk was originally pulled. The cord is missing. Lined with goat leather. Decoration: the 22 protrusions or 'ribs' are adorned with stacked on leaf and leaf-covered French lilies of silver thread in relief. A horizontal line of silver thread runs above the holes. Along the top; the whole was originally trimmed with a band of silver thread; now largely destroyed. The bottom is circled with a double border inside which a zigzag line of silver thread.
