On the wall in China decorated in light underglaze blue with lotus plants. In Europe with enamel colors decorated with the 'three friends of the winter' (bamboo; prunus; pine) behind tied hedges. On the edge and the underside of the wall a band with floral scrolls against a black-dotted; green background; interrupted by floral scrolls in a cartouche. Above the foot a band with floral scrolls. Two flower vines on the ear. Marked on the bottom with four imitation Chinese characters. The lid with the same decoration on an original Chinese decoration of incised flower sprays. Tuit has been restored; lid has been broken. Old label on the bottom with 'Westendorp Collection / 43'.
