Inside the six-pointed star is the monogram JM and the dates 1883 and 1933. Outside the star are leaf and wing motifs and tendrils that also decorate the border. On the back of the board cut into the unglazed shard: from JULIE and JACQUES (within a circle); below that LC and 1933.
