The Binche lace pattern consists of a curved flower stem; with a fan-shaped flower; from which a large feathered leaf rises that deflects in the opposite direction. The motifs are connected by a decorative ground; a snow ground. The motifs are made in linen with openwork edges. The straight short side is finished with a hem. The other sides are finished with a continuous edge of Valenciennes lace with a diamond-shaped grating.
