Strip of machined tulle with narrow strip of bobbin lace with ribs and an edge of little oval and rosette flowers; Strip of natural-colored lace; consisting of a wide strip of machined tulle; with a narrow strip of bobbin lace underneath: Mechelen lace. The pattern of the cleavage strip consists of a row of pulps with a succession of very small ovals along the straight underside; interspersed with a rosette flower and a leaf protruding obliquely. The economical motifs are made in a linen layer and are provided with thicker and shiny contour threads. The motifs are connected by a fine grid ground; the Mechelen ground. The long sides are finished straight; with along the underside of the clotted strip of picots.
