The edge of the batist is finished with small regular scallops; with a rosette flower in each scallop. The strip side is wrinkled on the batiste. It has a shell edge with contiguous; curved bows. Each scallop has the same; slightly slanting leaf. The motifs are made in linen with openwork edges and cut-outs. They are connected by a square Valenciennes ground.
