Box with the inscription M.V.H. belonging to two bobbin strips of bobbin lace; Light gray flat; cardboard box with gold printed outline and the letters M.V.H .. Left and right gray; silk ribbons to close the top; which can be opened. The inside is covered with light blue paper and has the inscription WORTH in gold on the top half of the lid. On the bottom of the box two long light blue ribbons are tied on the left and right around a cardboard that is slightly darker blue than the inside of the box. The ribbons were originally tied over the two edge strips that belong in the box. The initials M.V.H. stand for Mary (Ethel) Vernon Harcourt; Viscountess Harcourt (for her marrying Lewis Vernon Harcourt; 1st Viscount Harcourt she was called Haynes Burns).; Worth; Paris (possibly); c. 1875 - c. 1899; cardboard; h 2.3 cm x w 42.5 cm x d 31.4 cm
