Set of two candlesticks; built from tendrils; Two almost identical candlesticks made of silver. Stem made up of four series of three tendrils that gracefully curl around the open foot ring at the bottom and act as feet. Just above the foot ring; the tendrils merge to split into groups of two in a nodus that is half the height of the trunk. This scheme is repeated in a second larger nodus; which is located below the top of the trunk. From this the branches open like curling petals; from which the candle holder rises like a tulip-shaped chalice.; Koninklijke Utrechtsche Fabriek van Zilverwerken van C.J.
