Strip of bobbin lace with two separate flower sprays between a pattern; Natural strip of bobbin lace; Valenciennes lace. Halfway through the strip; the pattern consists of a row of loose flowers on a stem with two leaves. A row of flower twigs is placed below; always in the middle below the flowers in the row above. Between the flowers and flower sprays there is a scatter pattern of kidney-shaped motifs and between the flower sprays in a circular motif. Along the bottom edge runs a pattern that consists of a succession of three rosette flowers and an elongated c-shaped leaf. The motifs are connected by a hexagonal mesh. The motifs are made in linen with openwork edges. An ornamental soil has been used sparingly in the flower hearts and the circular scatter motif. The scalloped bottom is finished with picots.
